New Mexican Food Suppliers Interview Project

Thank you for participating in an interview about your experiences as a New Mexican Chef.   This is an exciting project to gather interviews with the most important people in New Mexico’s food scene. Your interview will be posted on the NewMexicanCookbook.com website and potentially another website if I can get enough interviews.

I’ve provided a series of questions below.  Please do not feel like you need to complete each and every question. The more questions you can answer, the better, however.  There is also a section at the bottom where you can include photographs.

It is my hope that this interview will help bring attention to your artistry with New Mexican Food   So curl up with a cup of coffee or your favorite drink and tell everyone all about your favorite chef — you!

What do you do that causes people to come back to your food again and again? What makes your food so special?
What’s next for you? What do you see in your future? Continue to create really great New Mexican food?
What is your big dream you would like to achieve? What keeps you going? We all have dreams (whether they are realistic or not) with what is yours? A new house? horses? A vacation? Expand the business? You name it!
If you were given the opportunity to have any meal you want before you died, what would it be? Where? Is the restaurant or the person preparing it still around? Why does it mean so much to you?

It is critical in this day and age to preserve our traditional foods and appreciate the foods our forebearers developed over hundreds if not thousands of years.  We must not let it be lost to the speed and convenience of fast food.
